Chester is a lazy cub villager in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

History[]

Day 15: Wacky Wardrobe[]

Chester was first introduced when Emile took an immediate liking to him. Chester challenged Emile to a game of "What Do I Want to Eat?", and Emile got it right on the first try. After which Emile decided to invite him to live in Palette.

Day 18: Midnight Oil[]

Chester finally moved in. Emile went to greet him, and was touched when Chester remembered him visiting him when he camped out.

Day 24: The Snowmen Cometh[]

After visiting Super T&T, Chester decided to be called "Super Chester."

Day 4: The Worst Birthday[]

After many years, Emile finally decides to cut down Chester's memorial bamboo, as it had become a recurring nuisance. Emile expresses remorse towards Chester.

Emile wandered around Palette, doing some fishing and talking to various villagers, including Pietro (whom he talked to twice).

  • Chester was the first camper Emile invited to live in Palette.
  • Chester refused Emile's first offer to move to Palette, but accepted his second offer.
  • He bought some dandelions from Emile for 2,610 bells.
  • Chugga offered to purify the towns water all by himself, if Chester would move in.
  • It takes about 2 days for campers to move into the town, so his house began construction in episode 17, and he moved in during episode 18.
  • In one episode, Shari asked Chugga to catch a pill bug for her because Chester told her she looked like one.
  • Emile sent him a letter to welcome him to town, to which he replied.
  • Emile had never seen the inside his house, until he was finally inside on Day 33 (the same day as Toy Day).
  • Emile talks ever so often about missing Chester.[1][2]
  • An alternate universe version of his house was seen in episode 36.
